The Keenon KLEENBOT C55 is a professional sweep-and-scrub robot for medium and large indoor floors. It combines a triple-roller sweeping module, a 110 L dual-tank water system and a dual-battery pack on one platform, so a single pass can sweep, scrub and pick up water without a separate ride-on machine.

Sweep and scrub in one pass

The C55 uses three independent rollers and a separately driven roller-sweeping module. The source describes a sweep-and-scrub pass that leaves the floor dry in about 30 seconds, with no standing water or visible streaks. That matters in a lobby or supermarket aisle where the floor has to reopen before the next wave of foot traffic.

Three modes cover different floor conditions: sweep and scrub for combined cleaning, sweep and push for sweeping with a light mop, and water pickup for wet floors or spills. The mode can be selected per task instead of changing the machine.

Throughput for medium and large floors

The source lists a maximum theoretical cleaning efficiency of 2,376 m²/h and a 550 mm cleaning width without the side brushes. At a maximum cleaning speed of 1.2 m/s, the C55 is sized for long, open runs rather than small rooms. A full 60 L clean-water tank is quoted at 11,880 m² of coverage, which is a useful planning number for a single shift.

The robot needs a 950 mm minimum pass width. The minimum working width for a turnaround is 1,250 mm. It can clear a 50 mm obstacle and climb a 6° ramp, so floor transitions and shallow thresholds should be checked during the site survey.

110 L of water and a five-second battery swap

The dual-tank design carries 60 L of clean water and 47 L of recovery water. The front dust bin is 2 L and the rear bin is 0.7 L. The tank housing is a one-piece shell that flips over for service, rather than a set of removable covers that have to be stored separately.

The C55 ships with two batteries in a dual-bay pack. The source claims a five-second battery swap, which is the feature that makes 24/7 operation practical: the robot can return to a charged pack instead of waiting four hours for a full charge. A full charge takes about four hours, and scrubbing runtime is quoted at five hours. Vacuum is rated at 21 kPa and noise at under 69 dB(A).

Autonomous water, charging and building access

The C55 can handle its own water and power cycle when a compatible workstation is installed. The workstation connects to the building water supply and drain, refills the clean tank, empties the recovery tank, adds detergent and charges the robot. That removes the manual refill routine that usually limits a cleaning robot to one shift.

The robot also supports automatic elevator control and access-control integration, so a route can cross floors or pass through a controlled door without an operator. Multi-robot dispatch can coordinate cleaning robots and delivery robots on the same site. The exact interface package depends on the building systems and should be confirmed before installation.

360° sensing for crowded floors

The sensing package includes four stereo vision cameras, a top-mounted LiDAR, 2D LiDAR, top VSLAM, drop sensors, anti-collision sensors, an IMU, a line laser and an RGB camera. A 3D LiDAR is listed as an option for garage environments. The source describes 360° coverage intended to catch low, irregular and moving obstacles in crowds.

The robot plans its own path and can re-plan around people, trolleys and temporary obstructions. It is an indoor machine for hard floors, not an outdoor or all-weather platform. Glass walls, mirrored columns, escalator edges and blind corners still need to be mapped and tested during commissioning.

Fleet management and IoT integration

APP and web dashboards provide task management, running-status notifications, remote monitoring and cleaning reports. The same platform can integrate elevators and doors, plan the best cleaning route, resume a task after an interruption and coordinate multiple robots. For a facility team, the value is not only the robot but the record of what was cleaned, when and by which machine.

The control system runs Linux and the interaction layer runs Android. The application layer is described as customizable, which leaves room for a site-specific workflow or an interface to an existing building-management system.

Serviceability in the field

The patent tank housing flips through 90° in about three seconds, so one person can inspect the pump and water lines without dismantling the machine. Magnetic side doors and quick-release brush components shorten the daily cleaning routine. The auxiliary handle lets an operator take over and move the robot manually when a route is blocked or a task needs a touch-up.

The 11.6-inch touchscreen is the local interface. Daily checks are the usual commercial-cleaning items: brush condition, squeegee rubber, recovery tank, filters and battery status. The source does not list an IP rating, so the C55 should not be washed down with a hose.

Deployment and operating envelope

The C55 measures 860 x 850 x 1,082 mm with the squeegee and weighs 150 kg with the battery. It is intended for indoor hard floors at 0–40°C and 25–85% relative humidity. The route plan should allow 950 mm for straight passage and 1,250 mm for a turnaround, plus clearance at every stop and doorway.

A pilot should test the real floor, the real traffic and the real water quality. Cleaning performance changes with floor finish, oil, grit and the type of detergent. The workstation also needs a nearby water supply, drain and power point; those building works are usually outside the robot package.

Commercial notes before ordering

The source listing price is CNY 145,000, with an indicative USD 21,570.96. The buying panel states a one-year warranty, while the enterprise procurement section refers to a three-year nationwide service term. The final contract should confirm the warranty period, service response, consumables, installation, training and the scope of any elevator or door integration.

Battery runtime, water coverage and cleaning efficiency depend on the mode, floor, route, temperature and load. Treat the published figures as planning values and verify them in a paid pilot before committing a full fleet.

What ships

The standard package listed on the source page includes the robot, two batteries, the brush set, the squeegee components and a product manual. Detergent, spare consumables, the workstation and building interfaces should be confirmed separately in the quotation.
